This is a project for my Major Studio class in Parsons the new school.
I did an AR Menu project since my huge passion with designing within restaurant industry. And main purpose was trying to tell the story behind the dish to improve diners’ experience before they even saw the dish.
The idea was showing the total time cost behind each dish to tell the story behind it.
Why the story is important?
The documentary series made by Netflix which called “Chef’s Table” was my original inspiration. When the chef talked about how many times and how many research they did for invent a red yolk egg dish, I was completely shocked. Somehow, I never thought about the invisible hard works behind a fantastic dish. It’s time to show some respect to those tangible things.
